INDIGO® SYSTEM

PENUMBRA INDIGO VASCULAR THROMBECTOMY SYSTEM

The thrombectomy Indigo system by direct mechanical aspiration provides a complete solution for the different thrombosis conditions in the peripheral vascular system. It is based on direct aspiration of the thrombus using:

CAT REPERFUSION CATHETERS

  • Fundamental component of the Indigo system: They are used to access the thrombus and aspirate it, once connected to the continuous vacuum aspiration pump.
  • Great support and navigability due to its nitinol body coated with Tecoflex™ polymer.
  • Its flexibility gives it an exceptional resistance to clamping and ovalisation which facilitates access to tortuous areas.

SEP Separators

  • Used to complement reperfusion catheters.

  • Made up of a flexible guide and ending in a bulb that is used to keep the reperfusion catheter tip patent during aspiration of organised or highly consistent thrombi.

Aspiration pump, Aspiration tube and canister

  • Transportable. Its vacuum pressure regulator reaches a pressure of -29 psi.
  • The IST3 aspiration tube provides the greatest capacity of suction thanks to its maximised diameter.
  • The canister gathers the thrombotic material aspirated.
